When we talk about flower tattoos, the first thing that comes to mind is roses. This is the kind of tattoo par excellence. However, in this way we forget that there are many others with very varied and important symbolism. Therefore, today I bring you a presentation of a lily tattoo.
The lily has a long legend behind it. In fact, they are said to be the closest plants to mythology. For example, for the Greeks, white flower petals were formed from drops of milk that the goddess Hera gave while breastfeeding. For the Romans, however, the lily was death: the Roman goddess Iris carried this plant with her while helping to transport souls to the underworld.
